The DMS curriculum is a professional medical education didactic program resulting in a Doctor of Medical Science (DMS) degree. The DMS program offers two majors, the clinical medicine major and the medical education major.
Within the clinical medicine major, the student can opt to focus his/her advanced medical education on the study of primary care medicine (PC), internal medicine (IM), emergency medicine (EM), or general medicine (GM) (only for new PA grads who matriculate within 9 months of graduating from an accredited PA program), and medical education.
The student can focus on advancing their knowledge in PA Education by completing the Medical Education Major curriculum plan.
